Our Services

  • Step 1:

    REGISTERING WITH US

Using the form below, fill out the appropriate details. Once we have processed your form we will contact you to arrange a personal interview with parents or guardians via an agreed upon platform of online video call [EG. Whatsapp video chat]. Prior to the call we will send you a detailed information pack on how we work and set your exceptions on the next steps.

    Step 2:

    ONLINE INTERVIEW

During our online video call we will explain our recruitment process with you and answer any questions you may have. We will also have an open conversation about the fees we charge going forward, so that there are no surprise or hidden fees along the way. We will then ask a series of questions to begin to paint a picture of your family life and what the perfect childcare solution looks like to you. We understand that this process requires a lot of time and effort from you as parents, but here at Pocketbook Nannies we believe in the importance of investing your time into finding the perfect childcare for your little ones to help them thrive and develop.

    Step 3:

    HOME VISIT

We firmly believe in the importance of home visits to create an accurate representation of what home life looks like for your family. We encourage the visit to be scheduled when your children are at home and preferably during the hours that any existing nannies are working to build a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of your home.

We will begin our visit by asking you to give us a whistlestop tour of the areas a nanny would be in charge of and the children’s personal space. We will then observe your family for approximately an hour.

We will be taking notes throughout the duration of our visit. All notes will be written up in a report and sent to you the subsequent day. Once you have had a chance to read the report, we welcome you to contact us with any amendments you believe should be made to better reflect your family dynamic.

    Step 4:

    FORMULATION OF JOB DESCRIPTION

Once we have completed a comprehensive review of your family’s criteria, we can build a job description. We will send this description to you for approval before we begin to select appropriate candidates.

    Step 5:

    CANDIDATE PROFILES

We will adverse the role for you and carefully evaluate the candidates who apply. Once we have a list of suitable candidates we will send you through their detailed profiles. You can decide whether you would like to interview them and we will arrange it all on your behalf.

    Step 6:

    CANDIDATE TRIALS

We recommend you interview several candidates. Once you have a shortlist we will arrange a trial day on your behalf. Trials will last approximately 2-3 hours. You are under no obligation to pay the candidates for their time but do so at your discretion.

    Step 7:

    HIRING

We will arrange a call with you to discuss the candidates after their trial and assist with hiring your chosen professional. We will provide you with all the necessary contracts and support the set-up of a nanny payroll service.
